The Specialized Strabismus and Orthoptics Center was founded by Dr. Samer Hajjo in Damascus in 2005 and is today the leading referral centre for strabismus in Syria. Located in the commercial heart of Damascus near Sabaa Bahrat Square, the Center comprises three strabismus clinics, an orthoptic therapy and exercises department, and an optometry clinic, staffed by ophthalmologists trained by Dr. Hajjo over many years.
Booking in Syria
The situation for patients in Syria is different because of the very large number of patients. Dr. Hajjo is regrettably only able to examine patients who need surgery and who have previously been examined at the Center by its physicians — doctors who trained at the Center for many years and in whom Dr. Hajjo has complete confidence.
